Montgomery Education Foundation

Founded in 2000 as a program of the Central Alabama Community Foundation, the Montgomery Education Foundation (MEF) supports the Montgomery Public School System as an investment in our children, community, and future. Since its inception, it has supported the Alabama Reading Initiative, provided professional development for school administration and staff, and promoted student achievement, public engagement, and school readiness Pre-K programs. MEF also created the Brain Forest Summer Learning program, MGM Reads and MGM Leaps program in support of extended learning needs in the community.
